If you head to The Freight House during Paducah Main Street Burger Week, you might see some familiar Mustang faces in the kitchen! 👩🍳🍔 These McCracken Culinary students who started as interns with Chef Sara Bradley and are now thriving. Graclyn is now a Junior Sous Chef, Preston has moved up to the line, and Jaleah, a current MCHS student, just started as a new intern in cold prep.

Last weekend, senior Aidan DeFrance went on the air with Eric Chumbler, Jimmie Garrett, and the 99.5 The Fan crew—and crushed it! Aidan has been a PA announcer since his freshman year and is now our newest radio broadcasting intern. A senior at MCHS who loves McCracken sports, he’s been preparing for this moment while learning from Mrs. Griffith and Mr. Madison in the MCHS Media Department.

🎟️ Tickets on sale through Friday at 10:00 p.m. via the Infinite Campus School Store.
📝 Outside guest forms accepted until the start of the dance.

Congratulations to MCHS sophomore Jakob Guajardo, who was named the winner of the Department of Energy’s West Kentucky Regional Science Bowl T-Shirt Artwork Contest! His design earned $500 for MCHS and will be worn at next month’s regional competition. Way to represent the Mustangs with creativity and STEM excellence! #McCrackenProud

Before the snow rolled in, our MCHS HOSA students headed to Gaither Suites at West Park to help clean bingo chips—doing their part to keep residents safe and healthy. Our future health professionals put their knowledge into action through service. We are #McCrackenProud of these Mustangs for caring for our community in meaningful ways!

#McCrackenProud to see this snow plow in action, painted by MCHS student Reagan Sunderland through the KYTC Paint the Plow program. And, thank you to Mrs. Greene, who spearheaded this opportunity for our art students!
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Paint the Plow program promotes safe driving during the snow and ice season. This initiative gives Kentucky high school students the chance to paint a real snowplow blade that will be used in their community to help keep roads safe all winter long.
