📚 Our Educators Rising students spent October collecting over 150 books to donate to Concord Academy! They wrapped up Book-Tober by visiting Concord students, reading with them, and hand-delivering the books. ❤️ Way to go, future educators! #McCrackenProud

The Youth LEAD program is designed to develop and prepare students for future community support and leadership roles in Paducah–McCracken County. Youth LEAD targets high school juniors in Paducah Independent, McCracken County Public Schools, and private and home‐school systems.
Students spend one day each month for six months exploring human needs and service learning, communication and career development, business and economy, law and government, and healthcare in McCracken County.
Selection is based on leadership potential, school and community involvement, and diversity among schools, backgrounds, and experiences.

Last week, Mrs. Dossett's AP and Intro to Stats students participated in the Barbie Bungee Drop. They took measurements of how far Barbie would fall with a certain number of rubber bands attached. They created scatterplots and regression equations to be able to predict how many rubber bands would be needed to safely allow Barbie to bungee off the second floor of the school.

McCracken County High School is proud to join the nation in celebrating Red Ribbon Week! This year’s theme is “Life Is a Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free.”
Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug prevention campaign in the U.S., encouraging students to make safe, healthy choices and live drug-free lives.
We’ll kick off the celebration with a Spirit Week full of dress-up days to show our Mustang pride and commitment to living drug free! #McCrackenProud

David has been named Murray State University’s Teen of the Week! His curiosity, creativity, and love of science are fueling his dream of becoming a mechanical or aeronautical engineer.
