The MCHS Chess Team took 1st Place at the 2024 Membership Tournament held at Paducah Tilghman High School on Saturday, October 19. Individually, Ella Chuppe came in 1st winning all 4 of her games. Colin McCurren came in 4th winning 3 out of 4 games. The next meeting is Thursday 10/31 after school.
Over the weekend, our talented Mustang Media students—Sofia Rinella, Makenzie Wilcher, Sydney Turner, and Charley Moore—filmed performances for this year’s Lion’s Club/WPSD Telethon of Stars! Tune in to catch their work on December 7th at 6:30 PM on Local 6. Don’t miss it! #McCrackenProud

Gabby, a member of the NAACP Youth Council, not only helped with the ideas for the Hispanic Heritage Month Event, but also took the lead in organizing and being the emcee. The event featured speakers, delicious authentic Mexican foods, and a chance for the community to come together and celebrate.

Using peer-to-peer card sets rooted in Protective Factors, young people feel heard through conversations that matter.
