Students took on differential equations in a hands-on way by using Wikki Stix to sketch slope fields based on the equations they were given. Then, with a “super” Wikki Stix, they traced a particular solution curve through a specific point. Once every graph was complete, the class participated in a gallery walk—analyzing each slope field and matching it to the correct differential equation.
Calculus + creativity + collaboration = a great day to be a Mustang!

🏆 Student Special: “The Golden Sausage Fritter” - Smoked sausage dipped in pancake-style batter, deep fried to crispy perfection, served with maple syrup, potatoes, and two eggs your way.
Our MCHS Culinary students were challenged to create an innovative breakfast dish — and the winning team delivered! This student-created special will be available for the next two weeks — and we hope our Mustang community shows up hungry! Come taste the creativity of MCHS and support the next generation of culinary talent!

🏆 Science Bowl Champions!
We are #McCrackenProud of the McCracken County High School Science Bowl Team for earning 1st place at the West Kentucky Regional Science Bowl! This win brings a $1,200 check for our science program. What an amazing opportunity to represent our school on a national stage!

They also shared insight into opportunities connected to our new welding and electrical programs launching next year at McCracken.

If you head to The Freight House during Paducah Main Street Burger Week, you might see some familiar Mustang faces in the kitchen! 👩🍳🍔 These McCracken Culinary students who started as interns with Chef Sara Bradley and are now thriving. Graclyn is now a Junior Sous Chef, Preston has moved up to the line, and Jaleah, a current MCHS student, just started as a new intern in cold prep.
