The Superstar Bus Award has been presented for several years and recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding behavior on the bus. Each month, bus drivers can nominate students who consistently show respect, kindness, and responsibility during their rides.

Our 2024–2025 AP Seminar class recently celebrated a major achievement. As part of the Advanced Kentucky Program, each student who passed received a $100 check for their hard work and success. The class celebrated together with cupcakes and Mustang pride!

Congratulations to Aiden Armstrong, the first student from McCracken County High School to be selected for the KMEA All-State Orchestra!
Aiden has studied violin privately since 7th grade, served as first chair in the Paducah Symphony All-District Honor Orchestra, participated in marching band for three years, and balances all of this with working HVAC during school breaks. His dedication, talent, and hard work make him a true standout in our district!
We are so proud of this historic milestone for Aiden and our growing orchestra program!

MCHS was able to bring several high school students to the EmpowerHER Conference for the second year in a row!
The EmpowerHER Conference is a Women's Conference put on by the Paducah Chamber of Commerce. This conference is dedicated to inspire, empower, and connect women from various different backgrounds and age groups.
These young women had the opportunity to gain new skills, learn from other women's life experiences, and leave feeling inspired as they walk into their next stage of life. #McCrackenProud

State Representative Randy Bridges spent some time at McCracken County High School as part of the Principal for a Day program!
“Principal for a Day” is a statewide initiative organized by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) that allows legislators and community leaders to shadow a school principal and gain a firsthand look at school operations and the challenges of educational leadership. Created through House Concurrent Resolution 25, the program helps strengthen understanding and support for Kentucky’s public schools.
