Last week, our McCracken Art students spent the day at Murray State University experiencing life as college art majors! From sitting in on real college classes to getting hands-on with creative projects, students got an inside look at what it’s like to be part of MSU’s incredible Arts Department. We are #McCrackenProud of our Mustangs for exploring their passions and planning for their futures!

We are #McCrackenProud of McCracken County senior Laiah Felts, who was named Murray State University’s Teen of the Week: September 23!
Laiah has found her purpose through peer tutoring in our special education program, where her passion for helping others shines every day. With her leadership, compassion, and drive, she’s already making a difference — and plans to continue doing so through a future career in occupational therapy.
Way to represent MCHS with Mustang pride, Laiah!

In the Outstanding Youth Contest, students delivered original two-minute speeches on agriculture or Farm Bureau topics, after completing an interview portion with a panel of judges. This valuable experience helped our students grow in public speaking and employability skills that will prepare them for their future. The Variety Contest showcased student talents, giving them the opportunity to perform any act in front of judges, Farm Bureau members, and guests.
