Congratulations to McCracken County High School English Teacher Ms. Morris, Senior Haydyn Pope, and MCHS Graduate River Murt. They entered the "In Praise of Wonders and Astonishments" Writing Contest at West Kentucky Community and Technical College and won! According to WKCTC, they had a record number of entries, and the judges remarked that the decisions were very difficult because they had so many excellent submissions. #McCrackenProud

"The project encourages the community, area school districts, and colleges to read the same book and come together to discuss it in a variety of settings."

McCracken County High School Freshman Nyla Holder represented the STATE of Kentucky at Miss Teen Volunteer America last week in Jackson TN!
She competed for 3 days: Interview, Talent, Fitness, and Gown. There were 51 girls from all over the United States, ages 13 through age 18, competing for the title of Miss Teen Volunteer America. Nyla was a Top 10 Finalist! Congratulations, Nyla! #McCrackenProud
