Congratulations to the McCracken County MUSTANGS MEN’s TRACK and FIELD TEAM! They are your BACK-to-BACK Regional Champions! #McCrackenProud They had 9 Regional Champions and 12 Automatic State Qualifiers! And, Congratulations to the Mustangs Women's Track and Field Team! They are your 2024 Region Team Runner-Up!

German Students Recognized Through National German Exam Eleven MCHS students received recognition for their performance on the National German Exam (NGE). Over 15,000 students nationwide took part in the 2024 exam. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded to students who achieve the highest percentile rankings on the NGE. The following MCHS students received awards: Silver - German I - Willow Burkholder; German II - John Dehart, Gracie Griffin, and Aaron Munoz; German III - Andrew Ragan and Kaleb Whatley; Bronze - German I - Andrew Estes and Salem Payne (not pictured); German II - Gray Woods; German III - Luke Jackson and Benson Huang. The students are also featured on the 2024 Honor Roll for the NGE. Congratulations to these students!

Honors Night Senior Honors Night is an evening ceremony celebrating the Senior Class achievements and recognitions in monetary awards and scholarships, academic awards, and involvement and/or completion of certain programs on campus. #McCrackenProud

Congratulations to MCHS Junior Aubrey Campbell! #McCrackenProud Aubrey received the Samuel Hurst Scholars Award from Berea College. The Dr. Samuel Hurst Scholars Award "honors outstanding high school juniors who embody Dr. Hurt's resilience, perseverance, and grit as a first-generation college student." Students who receive this award are promised from Berea College "never to pay tuition, a value of more than $190,000, over four years." #BereaCollegeHurstScholar

Reidland Middle School had the opportunity to visit McCracken County High School today! Students met with school principals, counselors, and teachers, who provided valuable insights into the expectations and academic rigor they can anticipate as future high school students. Students were also divided into small groups for a guided tour of MCHS! This session was designed to be instrumental in helping students feel more connected and excited about their upcoming transition to high school. #McCrackenProud

Today, the Class of 2024 enjoyed fresh baked cookies as a Sweet Send-Off tradition courtesy of West Kentucky Community and Technical College. 🎓 Thank you, WKCTC for helping us bid farewell to our Mustang Seniors! And a special shout out to Chef Jessi and her team at Kitchen's Cafe!
