Who doesn't love a party? On Friday, McCracken County High School held a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Field Day! Students who met the attendance and behavior qualifications were able to participate in outside games, a Kick Ball tournament, face painting, visit with friends, and purchase special treats like Swirls and Kona Ice. Thank you for a great day, especially our MCHS PBIS committee! #McCrackenProud

AP Seminar students attended a review session at Murray State’s Paducah Campus. Students were able to meet with expert teachers through the Advance Kentucky Program. #McCrackenProud
“AP Seminar rekindles the curiosity of youth and fortifies it with transferable skills with which students can engage in deeper learning about problems and issues of interest to them. Research suggests that more than any other AP course, AP Seminar positively influences the number of AP courses students take and qualifying scores they earn. Additionally, AP Seminar students are more likely than their peers to pursue advanced educational opportunities in college. Kentucky students are uniquely situated to take advantage of this opportunity as AP Seminar can serve as the English 10 credit.”s A

Out of over 240 applicants, 16 students were chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their endeavors after high school. CFSB, believes in investing into the students who are the future of our communities.

Last year's winning KSA testing group, the Pink Team, was rewarded with a trip to Super Bowl! They achieved the highest GROUP average KSA score, and what better way to celebrate their hard work and dedication than with a day filled with bowling, pizza, and arcade games?
