A group of McCracken County High School history students, selected by their teachers, had the opportunity to attend the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Forum this week—the first of three events in the Chamber’s Public Policy Spring Mini Series.

Students heard from U.S. Senate Democratic candidates Charles Booker, Amy McGrath, and Leader Pamela Stevenson, as they discussed key issues impacting our region. The forum gave students a firsthand look at the political process as candidates responded to questions before a live audience.

Experiences like this help our students connect classroom learning to real-world conversations and civic engagement. We’re proud of these Mustangs for taking part in such a meaningful opportunity!
