Today is Tuesday, and that means meal bags are available for pickup through the McCracken County Public Schools Summer Nutrition Program.

📍 Pickup Locations:
• Lone Oak Middle School
• Reidland Elementary School

🚗 Please follow the posted signage at each school for meal bag pickup.

⏰ Pickup Times:
• Pre-Registered Students: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Non-Pre-Registered Students: 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. while supplies last

Please remember that during June and July, on-site feeding is only available to students registered to attend camps and/or activities at the schools.

McCracken County High School's production of Oklahoma! brought home seven Kentucky Performing Arts Bradley Awards, including the night's highest honor — Best Overall Musical Production!

⭐ Best Actor in a Supporting Role – Emmett Rathgeber

McCracken County Public Schools has updated its Summer Nutrition Program meal service for Summer 2026.

During the months of June and July, on-site feeding will only be available to students registered to attend camps and/or activities at the schools.

The district will provide 7-day shelf stable breakfast and lunch meal bags at the following locations on Tuesdays only from June 2 through July 28:

Board of Education Recognitions – May Meeting

The McCracken County Board of Education proudly recognized outstanding students, teams, and retirees during the May Board Meeting.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our 2025–2026 retirees for their years of dedication and service to McCracken County Schools. Thank you for the lasting impact you have made on our students and schools.

The McCracken County High School Future Problem Solving Team was recognized for winning the Kentucky Future Problem Solving State Championship with record-setting scores. Team members included Jack Nelson, Riya Patel, Allison Ricketts, and Gavin Schooley, along with several additional students earning top individual honors.

Heath Middle School students Audrey Mulligan and Rosie Watson, along with Reidland Middle School student Wesley Reams, were recognized for outstanding performances at the JAG National Career Development Conference. Audrey and Wesley each earned 1st place national titles, while Rosie earned 4th place nationally in Public Speaking.

McCracken Community,

McCracken County High School’s Graduation Ceremony has been rescheduled to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23rd.

In the event of rain or inclement weather at 11:00 a.m., the start of the ceremony will be temporarily delayed until the weather safely clears. Any information on Saturday will be communicated through email and text.

McCracken County Public Schools is proud to announce Matt Dobson as the district’s new Director of Personnel, effective July 1.

Dobson brings more than 20 years of experience in education and school leadership to the role. He currently serves as principal of the McCracken County Alternative Program, where he oversees McCracken County Alternative School, Open Campus, and McCracken Regional School. He previously served as an assistant principal at McCracken County High School and has held several leadership roles throughout his career.
