Congratulations to the Mustangs Men's Freshman Basketball team on winning three tough games to be champions of the Marshall County Freshman tournament this past weekend. The team is now 14-1 on the season, with one game left vs Calloway County on Monday.
CONGRATULATIONS to the McCracken County Lady Mustangs Head Coach Scott Sivills on his 500th career win as a head coach on Saturday, February 10th. Sivills has 500 career wins, 5 regional titles, and one of the top coaches in all-time wins in girls basketball in KHSAA history. Sivills is just the 18th girls head coach in KHSAA history to achieve 500 career wins!

At the KHSAA State Bowling, the Lady Mustangs qualified as the 9 seed and beat 8th seeded Boone County 3-0 in match play. Unfortunately, they fell to the 1 seed Boyle County 1-3 in the quarterfinals. This is the farthest the MCHS girls’ team has ever gone at the state level!
Mustangs Bowling Senior Ross Ramage ended his high school career this afternoon at Kingpin Lanes in Louisville with a 602 series at the singles state tournament.

Mustangs Men's JV/Varsity Basketball away games at Louisville Ballard scheduled for February 19th have been cancelled (due to school now being in session on February 19th for a make up snow day).
McCracken County Schools will be in session, on February 19, 2024, and March 15, 2024, to make up two snow days. Our school district missed a total of four days in January due to inclement weather. The 2023-2024 school calendar will be reduced two calendar days so students will not make up the other two snow days. Non-traditional instruction (NTI) days will be used for any additional full school days missed going forward.
