We invite you to join us for our annual Reidland Day 5K Run/Walk through the beautiful Reidland community on the morning of October 18th, 2025. This semi hilly 5K course will begin at the Reidland Middle/Intermediate School school and will take you through multiple scenic neighborhoods in Reidland, around Reidland Elementary School, and then finishing on the 50 yard line of the old Reidland High School football field. This race is becoming a tradition for the Reidland community and all proceeds with go directly to the Reidland Area schools!
5K Entry cost is $25 and includes a shirt for anyone that preregisters by October 4th, 2025.
1 Mile Fun Run cost is $12 ($17 with shirt).

🚍 Transportation Update for McCracken County Families 🚍
Our Transportation Office is hard at work developing new bus routes and improving the efficiency of current ones. Once routes are finalized, drivers will begin practicing them the first week of August.
After that, bus drivers will contact parents and guardians directly with estimated pickup and drop-off times. We appreciate your patience and support as we prepare for a smooth start to the school year!

Due to severe storms that moved through tonight and ongoing power outages, McCracken County Schools will have a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day on Thursday, April 3, 2025 to allow time for damage assessment across the district.

❄️ McCracken County Schools - Winter Weather Update ❄️ Due to the forecasted winter weather for Friday, January 10, McCracken County Schools will be closed. This will be NTI Day 1. Please note: All after-school activities on Thursday, January 9 will still proceed as scheduled. Stay safe and warm!

Dear Lone Oak Elementary Families, We are excited to share an update regarding the passport system used for picking up students in Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade. The Transportation Department has added a new option to make the process more flexible while ensuring student safety. Please review the important details below: Passport Guidelines and New Option Passports are still required for pick-up. New Option: If the passport is not available, the approved person may provide: The student’s name and The last six digits of the student’s ID number. The student ID number option may only be used three times per school year as an emergency alternative. If the passport is unavailable, the student ID number must be provided immediately at drop-off. Drivers will not wait for phone calls to the school or other individuals to obtain the number. This second option is designed to serve as an emergency backup for families. How to Find Your Child’s Student ID Number To access your child’s student ID number: Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Select your child’s profile. The student ID number will be visible on the main profile page or under the “Student Information” tab. If you have questions about accessing the Parent Portal, please contact the school office for assistance. Important Reminder Parents are responsible for ensuring that anyone picking up their child knows how to access the student ID number. The Transportation Department will not provide student ID numbers to anyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to make the pick-up process secure and efficient for all families.
