McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention teacher Crystal Culp has been chosen as one of 21 teachers state-wide to participate in the University of Kentucky – Jewish Heritage Fund Holocaust Education Initiative. The program creates a network of teachers across Kentucky who feel confident and capable of including curriculum about the Holocaust in their classrooms. The McCracken County High School Orchestra traveled to Concord Elementary yesterday to hold an Instrument Petting Zoo activity. Concord fifth graders were treated to a concert of Halloween-themed music and then they went to stations located throughout the gym where they could interact with each string orchestra instrument with assistance and instruction from the high school students. #McCrackenProud
