On Monday, August 19, McCracken County Schools proudly joined districts across the state in wearing pink to honor the memory of Lucy, a beloved 4th-grade student from Henderson County, KY, who tragically passed away after collapsing during recess on her first day of school.
In honor of Lucy’s love for the color pink, we wore pink yesterday to show our solidarity with her family and the Henderson County community during this heartbreaking time.
Our hearts are with Lucy's family and all who knew and loved her.

McCracken County High School FPS Team Shines Globally at International World Finals
In early June, the McCracken County High School Future Problem-Solving Team had a thrilling experience at the International Conference World Finals. They competed in Team Global Issues Problem Solving, Individual Problem Solving, and Presentation of Action Plan competitions, alongside participating in activities with students from around the world.
After the initial rounds, their hard work paid off as they advanced to the Senior Division Top 10 Finals for the Presentation of Action Plan, ultimately securing an impressive 3rd place globally! Additionally, Brennen Hartman achieved a remarkable 7th place in the world for Individual Future Problem Solving. #McCrackenProud
