The students selected are always showing a desire to learn more and to ask questions to expand their understanding of the world around them! We are so proud of each and every one of them!!!

Please help us end 2023 on a great note by welcoming the newest member of our staff at RIS, Mrs. Amanda Rivera!!! Amanda will be joining our 5th grade team and will be teaching Math and Writing. She is entering her 11th year teaching, has a masters degree in mathematics, and has been teaching 5th grade in Southern Illinois for the past 5 years. We are excited to have Amanda as the newest ace in our deck and can't wait to see the relationships she builds and see our students benefit from the knowledge that she brings with her!!!
