McCracken County High School is proud to announce that four students—Audrey Estes, Ethan Dillon, Katelyn Dillon, and Ansh Shaw—have been selected to attend the 2025 Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs (GSE), a highly competitive and prestigious summer program that empowers Kentucky high school students to turn their innovative ideas into real-world ventures.
In addition to those selected, four students from McCracken County—Dawson Beyer, Braden French, Kush Patel, and Marlee Harbison—have been named as alternates and may be invited to participate should additional spots become available.
The Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs identifies and supports the Commonwealth’s next generation of innovators and business leaders. Through a three-week residential experience at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics, participants collaborate with like-minded peers to develop business plans and product prototypes, learn directly from successful Kentucky entrepreneurs, and compete in a final pitch event attended by members of the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The 2025 GSE program will take place from June 22 to July 13 and is offered at no cost to students.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore their creative potential and gain invaluable experience in business and innovation,” said Jonathan Smith, MCHS Principal. “We are proud of their achievements and excited to see what they accomplish through this program.”
