McCracken County High School has announced Bailey Vick as the fifth inductee in the inaugural class of the McCracken County High School Hall of Fame.
Vick, a 2016 graduate of MCHS, was a six-year varsity softball player who played a key role in one of the most successful stretches in McCracken County softball history. She helped lead the Mustangs to two district championships, a KHSAA State Runner-Up finish in 2014 and the 2015 KHSAA State Championship.
Her individual accomplishments were equally impressive. Vick was a three-time KHSAA Academic All-State selection, two-time All-District honoree, Second-Team All-State selection and East-West All-Star Game participant. She also excelled in the classroom as a 4.0 student, AP Scholar and Governor’s Scholar.
Vick continued her athletic and academic success at the University of Kentucky, where she earned numerous honors, including SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Academic All-America recognition. She was later inducted into the University of Kentucky Softball Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony is set for Friday, September 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the C-Plant Auditorium at McCracken County High School and the 2026 Hall of Fame Class will be recognized that same night ahead of home football game against Union County.
