BOWLING GREEN, KY — The 14th golf tournament of the season is in the books for the McCracken County Mustangs. On Saturday, August 30, the Mustangs competed in the State First Round Preview at Crosswinds Golf Course in Bowling Green.
The McCracken group consisting of Landon Hunt, Dallas Vinson, Tanner Kight, Evan Hack, and Jack Farmery competed as a team and came away with the 1st place finish at 2-under-par 286.
Vinson tied for 3rd with a 3-under-par 69, Hunt followed closely behind with a 2-under-par 70, Kight posted a solid 73, Hack carded a 74 and Farmery landed a 75.
On the season, the Mustang boys golf team has 12 wins, one second-place, and one third-place finish through 14 tournaments.
he Mustangs will be back in action competing in the Bowling Green Invitational at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green Saturday, September 6.
