Dear LOE Families,
We are so excited to welcome your child for the first day of school! Please read the important reminders below to help make the day go smoothly:
🚗 Morning Car Rider Drop-Off
Drop-off is in front of the school.
Doors open at 8:00 AM.
If your student is eating breakfast, they must arrive before 8:20 AM.
Doors close at 8:30 AM. After this time, you will need to park and sign your student in at the office.
🚌 Bus Riders
Bus riders will receive specific details from their bus drivers before Monday.
In the afternoon, bus riders load first at approximately 3:30 PM.
🚗 Afternoon Car Rider Pick-Up
For safety, please stay in your car until all buses have departed.
Once buses leave, car rider families may begin lining up by the Gym with your Car Rider Tag.
All students will be waiting in the gym. We will call each student to meet you at the door and walk to your car.
Please hold your child’s hand while walking through the parking lot.
We appreciate your patience as the first week may run behind schedule while everyone learns the routine.
Due to the heat, we recommend staying in your car with the A/C on until buses depart.
After-school activities haven’t started yet, so the line is a bit longer. Once we’re in our routine, car rider dismissal usually finishes by 3:45 PM.
🏫 Other Important Reminders
No parents may visit the building during school hours without an appointment.
Lunch visits with your student begin after Labor Day.
Water bottles: Only small water bottles inside lunch boxes are allowed at this time.
