Important Announcement: Change to Water Bottle Policy
Starting this school year, water bottles and cups will no longer be permitted in the classrooms at Lone Oak Elementary.
Metal bottles and cups are strictly prohibited. They are heavy, often fall with a loud noise, and can cause injury if they accidentally hit another person.
Other types of water bottles frequently leak, fall off desks, and spill onto Chromebooks or school materials, creating safety and damage concerns.
To ensure students stay hydrated, we have water fountains available in every classroom, hallway, the cafeteria, and the gym. Students are welcome to bring a small water bottle in their lunchbox if they’d like to have one during lunch.
We appreciate your understanding as we make this change with student safety in mind.
