The McCracken County Schools’ Local Planning Committee (LPC) will hold a PUBLIC MEETING on December 2, 2024, at 5:30 PM CST at the McCracken County School District’s Central Office, 300 Cumberland Avenue, Paducah, Kentucky 42001.
A Public Forum for public comments will follow at approximately 7:15 PM CDT.
This meeting is part of a series to develop a District Facilities Plan for McCracken County Schools. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

This week, we wrapped up 5 weeks of English as a Second Language classes for parents and EL students at Central Office. 📚✨ A huge thank you to Romina Maldonado for leading these impactful sessions!
Students were gifted with a bilingual-visual dictionary and a binder filled with all the lesson materials. To celebrate their hard work, each student received a Certificate of Achievement for completing the program! 🎓👏

☕👮♂️ Coffee with a Cop 👮♀️☕
On November 12, students from Mr. Wentworth's Criminal Justice classes had the unique opportunity to attend the third annual Coffee with a Cop event at McCracken County High School. They gathered for coffee and pastries, generously provided by students from Mrs. Woodruff's culinary classes, and engaged in meaningful conversations with officers from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Paducah Police Department, Kentucky State Police, FBI, and McCracken County Campus Police.
The event allowed students to meet and interact with a wide range of law enforcement professionals, including detectives, patrol officers, school resource officers, and administrators. True to the mission of the Coffee with a Cop national initiative, this event helped break down barriers between law enforcement and the community, fostering open dialogue and understanding.
A big thank you to all the officers and students who made this event a success! ☕👮♂️
