We are excited to share that WHAS Crusade for Children has awarded a $10,000 grant to McCracken County Public Schools Preschool Program.
The mission of WHAS Crusade for Children is to make life better for children with identified health care, educational, and emotional wellness needs by inspiring generosity with our community partners. Together with the community and grantee partners, the vision is to advance opportunities for all children with identified needs to reach their full potential. WHAS Crusade for Children is a nonprofit organization and 100% of each donation to the WHAS Crusade for Children helps raise money for children with identified needs by issuing grants across the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The grant funding received will support a critical component of early childhood education through specialized sensory materials and adaptive supports. The district has experienced a growing need to support students early on with disabilities who face social-emotional and sensory regulation challenges that impact their ability to access instruction and participate in inclusive learning environments.
