McCracken County Public Schools is pleased to announce that Caleb Bogaczyk has been named Principal of Alternative Programs.

In this role, Bogaczyk will lead the McCracken County Alternative Program, where he oversees McCracken County Alternative School, Open Campus, and McCracken Regional School. He will work closely with students, families, and staff to provide individualized support and opportunities that empower students to overcome obstacles and prepare for success beyond high school.

Bogaczyk brings a unique blend of educational leadership and experience working with students facing significant challenges. He has served as an educator in McCracken County Schools for more than 14 years, most recently as a science teacher at Heath Middle School. Prior to joining the district, he held leadership positions in therapeutic foster care and juvenile justice settings, overseeing programming, staff development, and behavior support initiatives.

He earned a Master of Arts in School Administration and a Master of Arts in Education (Teacher Leader) from Murray State University, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.

"Alternative programs play an important role in ensuring every student has a pathway to success," said Superintendent Josh Hunt. "Mr. Bogaczyk's experience and commitment to meeting students where they are will help strengthen these programs and provide students with the support, accountability, and opportunities they need to reach their goals."

Bogaczyk said he is honored to continue serving students and families in McCracken County in this new capacity.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue serving McCracken County Schools in this new role," Bogaczyk said. "Alternative education is about helping students develop the skills, habits, and confidence needed for long-term success. Success requires both accountability and support, and I look forward to working with our students, staff, and families to create an environment where students can overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and build a foundation for their future."
