Lori  Hyde

McCracken County Public Schools is proud to announce that Lori Hyde has been named the next principal of Lone Oak Intermediate School, effective for the 2026–2027 school year.

Hyde has served as principal of Reidland Middle School since 2022 and brings 19 years of experience within McCracken County Schools. She began her career at Reidland Elementary School and has served as a teacher at Lone Oak Elementary School, Lone Oak Middle School, and Lone Oak Intermediate School.

“Mrs. Hyde is a dedicated educator and leader who has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to student learning and growth,” said Superintendent, Josh Hunt. “Her experience across multiple schools and grade levels, along with her leadership at Reidland Middle, makes her an excellent choice to lead Lone Oak Intermediate.”

Hyde holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Middle School English/Language Arts and Communication, a Master’s Degree in Literacy, and a Rank I in Education Administration from Murray State University.

“I am honored and excited to serve as principal of Lone Oak Intermediate,” Hyde said. “This school and community mean so much to me, and I look forward to continuing to support our students, staff, and families as we build on a strong tradition of success.”

This leadership transition comes as the current Lone Oak Intermediate principal, Tim Bundren has been named principal of Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School.

McCracken County Public Schools looks forward to Hyde’s continued leadership and the positive impact she will make in her new role.
