Choir Students

Seven talented singers from McCracken County High School were selected to perform with the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Southern Division National Honor Choirs in Memphis, Tennessee.

These students earned their place through a highly competitive and rigorous audition process, joining some of the top high school vocalists from across the southern United States. During the event, students participated in intensive rehearsals and performed a diverse selection of advanced choral works under the direction of nationally recognized conductors.

Highlighting this outstanding achievement, McCracken County High School students Abby Scheer and Ben Trevino were also selected as soloists with their respective honor choirs—an exceptional distinction that reflects their vocal excellence and artistry.

“This is an incredible accomplishment for these students and a testament to their dedication, talent, and hard work,” said MCHS Principal, Jonathan Smith. “Being selected to perform at this level—and to be recognized as soloists—is a remarkable honor.”

McCracken County Schools congratulates all seven students on representing their school and community with excellence on a regional and national stage.
