McCracken County Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Wilson as the new Assistant Principal and Curriculum Coach at Reidland Intermediate School, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year.
Mrs. Wilson brings a strong background in special education, instructional leadership, and student-centered collaboration. She currently serves as an exceptional child instructor at Reidland Intermediate, where she has co-taught fifth-grade reading, math, and writing, and will continue supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. She has also contributed to schoolwide planning as a Curriculum Committee member and 21st Century instructor.
Wilson began her teaching career in 2015 and has taught in both elementary and secondary settings. She has deep experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), facilitating team-based instructional planning, and mentoring aspiring teachers. Prior to joining Reidland Intermediate, she served as an exceptional child instructor at Murray Middle School and Murray High School.
Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Learning and Behavior Disorders (P–12) with an elementary education emphasis from Murray State University. She holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on literacy from the University of the Cumberlands, and she is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in educational leadership (P–12 principal certification), also from the University of the Cumberlands.
Throughout her career, Wilson has taken on multiple leadership roles including team leader, PBIS committee member, extended school services instructor, and student teacher supervisor. In 2023, she was nominated for the WKCTC Regional Educators Distinguished Faculty Award.
“I’m incredibly excited to step into this new role as the new assistant principal and curriculum coach,” said Wilson. “It’s an honor to support our students, staff, and families, and I look forward to helping create a learning environment where everyone can grow and thrive.”
Principal Shaun Thomas shared, “Natalie is an outstanding educator who has already made a meaningful impact at Reidland Intermediate. Her dedication, instructional expertise, and ability to connect with students and staff make her a natural fit for this leadership role. I’m confident she will continue to help move our school forward in exciting ways.”
