Lone Oak Intermediate is a fourth and fifth grade school located in the McCracken County Public School District. McCracken County Public School District consists of one high school, McCracken County High School, three middle schools, Lone Oak Middle School, Heath Middle School and Reidland Middle School, two intermediate schools, Lone Oak Intermediate and Reidland Intermediate, as well as five elementary schools, Lone Oak Elementary School, Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School, Heath Elementary School, Concord Elementary School, and Reidland Elementary School. Students from Lone Oak Elementary and Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary attend Lone Oak Intermediate School for fourth and fifth grade.
