Important Dates for 8th Grade Students & Families:

Tuesday, 3/5 - High School counselors will meet with individual 8th grade students in Science class to review completed high school course sheets.


Heath Middle School is sponsoring a FREE summer camp for any of its incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Our two-week hands-on summer camp will allow students to design, build, code, create, experiment, and problem solve as they break out of an escape room, program robots, experiment in the kitchen, construct flying objects, and much more! Dates for the camp are Monday-Thursday June 3-6 & June 10-13 from 6:45 AM to 11:30 AM (with transportation home included). Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day at no cost. Sessions will be led by certified teachers and/or professionals in the field.  Space is limited this year, so if you would like to sign your child up, please contact Lacey Metzger- 21st Century Site Coordinator at          Registration will end Friday, March 29 2019. 



Gifted and Talented Visual and Performing Arts audition dates have been set for the areas of Art and Dance.  Drama and Music will be announced at a later date.

Individual auditions will be scheduled.  Students/parents/guardians will be notified of dates and time of audition(s).

All students must submit a Student Profile Sheet and a Parent Referral Form.  

GT Art Auditions

Art portfolio, profile sheet and referral form are due to Mrs. Schooley no later than March 1st.

Auditions are 3/6 and 3/7 at the Central Office.

GT Dance Auditions

Profile sheet and referral form are due to Mrs. Schooley no later than March 18th.

Auditions are March 27th at McCracken County High School.

Gifted and Talented music auditions will be held on April 11th and April 12th at McCracken County High School.  Phone calls will be made to schedule audition.  The student profile sheet and parent referral are due to Mrs. Schooley no later than March 27th.
