Tammy Chapman Named House 3 Assistant Principal at McCracken County High School
Tammy Chapman has been named House 3 Assistant Principal at McCracken County High School.
Chapman has been in the education field for 24 years having taught chemistry for four years and math for 20 years. In her career she has coached girls basketball, volleyball, softball and served as an athletic director. In 2017, she was selected for the Valvoline Teacher Achievement Awards. For the last two years, she has served on the SBDM at MCHS and was an interim assistant principal during the spring 2019 semester.
She earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in mathematics from Campbellsville University and a Master’s Degree in educational leadership from Murray State University.
"I am so excited about the opportunity to serve the teachers and students of McCracken County High School as an Assistant Principal,” said Chapman. “Our school is equipped with a great staff and wonderful students. I count it a blessing to be a part of the leadership team that will support and guide them in the years to come.”
