Kind Student of the Month
The Guess Anti-Bullying Foundation and Texas Roadhouse have teamed up to recognize kind students in Paducah and McCracken County.

Mason Hall, a first grader at Reidland Elementary School, is this month's Kind Student of the Month.  He is the son of Les and Morgan Hall.

"There is something magical about lifting up kindness, said Guess Anti-Bullying Foundation co-founder Morgan Guess.  "I suffered a concussion on Halloween day and was advised by my doctor to stay home. I was sad. The next morning, our doorbell rang. I didn't get there before the person left. I found a orange plastic pumpkin filled with candy and a note from Mason.  He said he heard I was unable to trick or treat and he wanted to share some candy with me! My heart was full and I was reminded of the power of one kind act.  I hope Mason's example of kindness inspires other young people to find their own way to make a positive difference.  I am so proud to be a part of a project that is designed to promote, recognize and celebrate students who think kindly and act boldly through acts of kindness.”

Joelle Long and her husband Ryan, owners of Paducah’s Texas Roadhouse, partner with the Guess Anti-Bullying Foundation to recognize kindness. "We are proud to be a part of this community and we want to do our part to build an even kinder Paducah,” said Joelle. “We are thrilled to recognize students who inspire all of us to be better people.

Each month a student will be featured as the Kind Student of the Month and their good deeds will be rewarded with a poster of them being hung in the lobby of Texas Roadhouse and in their school.
