McCracken County High School delivers on the visionary promise made to the students, teachers, and residents of McCracken County.  It is the vision of McCracken County High School to see that its students graduate and have a life filled with options.  We do this by ensuring that our students possess the academic skills and the character necessary to succeed in the world.

GSP 2019 Sixteen McCracken County High School Students Chosen for Governor’s Scholars
For the first time in school history, all student applications submitted to the Governor’s Scholars Program were accepted. 
GSA 2019 McCracken County High School Students Selected For Governor’s School for the Arts
Governor’s School for the Arts provides hands-on arts opportunities for promising high school sophomores and juniors in nine arts disciplines: Architecture, Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Musical Theater, New Media, Visual Art and Vocal Music. 
Mason Hancock McCracken County High School Student Selected for Morehead's Craft Academy
The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics at Morehead State University announced the members of the 2021 class. Mason Hancock a sophomore at MCHS has been selected to attend. 
MCHS FFA McCracken FFA Students Bring Home Slew of Team, Individual Awards
McCracken County High School FFA members have earned a long list of awards and honors so far this spring, and the list continues to grow. 
Gatton Academy Two McCracken County High School Students Selected to Gatton Academy’s Class of 2021
The MCHS sophomores selected for The Gatton Academy are Josiah Baumer and Evelyn Dukes.
