Ice or snow has the potential to cause changes to the school day. Winter weather may affect transportation and the school day schedule. McCracken County Public Schools will inform students, parents and staff of school closures or delays in the following ways:

SchoolMessenger will be used to notify households by phone and email.

The district will notify local TV and radio stations

Announcements will be posted on the district web page, the McCracken County Public Schools facebook page

and Tweeted @MCPSchools.

Information will be published on - a service that allows families to

subscribe to email updates regarding school closures or delays.

Grand Adult Sweetheart Book Fair 

February 5-9, 2018 

We’ll start our time together in the gym with our music teacher, Mr. Davidson, leading your students in two special Sweetheart songs. Bring your cameras for a great photo opportunity. Then, we’ll journey to the media center to explore the Book Fair, make purchases, create bookmarks and enjoying the gift of time to read with your student.

You are also welcome before school starts any morning from 8:00-8:30. 

Note* In case of inclement weather, when school is not in session or dismissed early, your child’s scheduled day will be rescheduled. The Fair will stay until all classrooms get to participate.

This day will make-up one snow day missed in January.
