Did you miss our Title 1 Volunteer Training?

If you missed our first volunteer training, we will be scheduling a second volunteer training soon! Once we have the date/time set, we will let you know!

World’s Finest Chocolate Candy Bar Fundraiser

Parents – We will be starting our World’s Finest Chocolate Candy Bar fundraiser very soon! We will be sending home information with each student on August 22nd! Thank you in advance for being willing to support our students at HES!

Dippin’ Dots to be sold in the HES café!

Does your child like Dippin’ Dots? We are going to have a trial run of selling a limited number of Dippin’ Dots on a Friday once per month this school year. They will be sold for $2 each. If we happen to run out before we get through all classes that month we will start the next month with the class that we stopped with the month before. However, if we don't sell all of the Dippin’ Dots on the Friday in which they are sold, we will sell them on the following Monday as well. They will be sold for the first time on August 25th!

Breakfast & Lunch – CEP Program

All of our students will be eating free breakfast and lunch this school year thanks to the CEP program! However, if they would like extras these items, they will be charged. By completing this form, it will help us keep the CEP program here at HES!

Pirates Clubhouse

Just like last year, Pirates Clubhouse will operate from 6:30 AM-8:10 AM. If you have any questions, please contact our director, Ms. Jenna Shelby (Email: jenna.shelby@mccracken.kyschools.us or Phone: 270-538-4060).

C.I.A. After School Program

We will continue to have our CIA after school program this school year! It will operate from 3:30-6:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 3:30-5:30 on Fridays. If you have any questions, please contact our director, Mrs. Lyndsey Birdsong (Email:lyndsey.birdsong@mccracken.kyschools.us or Phone: 270-538-4060).

The McCracken County School System was recognized for achieving accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) after the AdvancED Accreditation Commission ratified Council action for a status of accredited.

The families of eight Kentucky students have won $1,000 college savings accounts with the Kentucky Education Savings Plan Trust (KESPT) after participating in the 2017 KESPT Dream Out Loud Challenge.

Mustangs summer basketball camp will be held May 24-26.

Lady Mustangs Basketball Camp will be held June 5-7. 
 West KY FCA Power Camp West KY FCA Power Camp
FCA Power Camp is a three-day athletic camp for boys and girls in the West KY area who are entering grades 5th-8th in the Fall of 2017.
