Pirates of the Week

Each week, there will be one student selected from each grade level as the Pirate of the Week. Students receive this honor based on the following characteristics: perfect attendance, no behavior clip downs, showing leadership, generosity, respect, and many other character traits. They will be featured on our Pirate of the Week board (by the office), on Facebook, and on our website each week!

Students from Heath Elementary, Concord Elementary, Reidland Intermediate, Lone Oak Middle, and McCracken County High School were announced as award winners in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster, Poetry, and Essay Contest at an awards presentation held at Paducah Middle School on January 15, 2017.

October is Bullying Prevention Month and Oct. 16-22 is Kentucky Safe Schools Week.

The Kentucky Department of Education and Valvoline have selected 24 outstanding Kentucky educators as recipients of the 2017 Valvoline Teacher Achievement Awards (TAA). Two are from McCracken County Schools.
