Congratulations to our Pirates of the Week for October 24th-28th! Each week, there will be one student selected from each grade level as the Pirate of the Week. Students receive this honor based on the following characteristics: perfect attendance, no behavior clip downs, showing leadership, generosity, respect, and many other character traits. They will be featured on our Pirate of the Week board (by the office), on Facebook, and on our website each week!

Veteran’s Clinic Donation Drive – Oct. 31-Nov. 9th

Please assist us collect items for our Paducah Veteran’s Clinic! They are in need of canned goods, food, socks, and gloves. We will collect these items between Oct. 31st and Nov. 9th! Thanks for your support!

Blood Drive – November 3rd – 12:00-6:00 PM!

Please consider donating blood to help those in our community! All students who recruit a blood donor will receive a Red Cross mini flashlight. The classroom with the most donors will receive a pizza party sponsored by Pizza Inn. Finally, the teacher who has the classroom with the most donors will receive a free ready to bake meal sponsored by DeeDee's Delights. Thanks for your support!

Girls STEM – 5th Grade

We wanted to make sure that your students are aware of a great opportunity for girls to learn more about educational choices in STEM. Girls 5th grade through high school are invited to this free, hands-on event to learn more about educational choices in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics!

FCA Huddle
The Weekly FCA Huddle will meet every Tuesday morning at 8:00AM in the gym for a time of breakfast, Bible study, and prayer.
Pirate Clubhouse

Kentucky Safe Schools Week
October is Bullying Prevention Month and Oct. 16-22 is Kentucky Safe Schools Week.  
24 Valvoline Teacher Achievement Award Winners Named
The Kentucky Department of Education and Valvoline have selected 24 outstanding Kentucky educators as recipients of the 2017 Valvoline Teacher Achievement Awards (TAA). Two are from McCracken County Schools. 
Lady Mustang Basketball: Youth League and Little Dribblers
Registration for Lady Mustang "Little Dribblers" (K-2 grade), and "Youth League" (2nd grade -6th grade), will be on September 14, 15, and 16 at Strawberry Hills Arena Lobby at McCracken County High School from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.  
McCracken County Dance Team Dance Clinic
Help us kick off a great season by attending our first dance clinic hosted by MCHS dance team.  
Baptist Health, Four Rivers expand clinics to serve all Paducah-McCracken County schools
Baptist Health and Four Rivers Behavioral Health are expanding walk-in clinics to serve all McCracken County and Paducah public schools every school day, beginning with the 2016-17 year.
