Last fall, five McCracken schools applied for Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grants. This spring, all five found out the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation would be sending them a $5,000 check. 
 STLP McCracken students win big at annual K-12 STLP State Championship
All three McCracken schools who sent student teams to the K-12 Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) State Championship at Rupp Arena April 18 placed in at least one competition, up against thousands of other students from across Kentucky. 
MSU Teacher Awards Three McCracken Teachers Receive MSU College of Education Alumni Awards
Three McCracken County teachers will be among those honored at the Murray State University College of Education and Human Services’ 35th Annual Harry M. Sparks Distinguished Lecture Tuesday, April 30.

The 6th Annual West KY FCA Power Camp will be held at McCracken County High School for rising 5th – 8th Grade Boys/Girls, June 10-12.
