 KIDS First FRYSC Presents: Back To School Supplies Giveaway Event
*This event is for families who are in need of school supplies assistance*
Serving Concord Elementary, Heath Elementary, and Heath Middle
Location: Heath Middle School
Date: Monday, August 3rd 
Time: 3:00-5:00 PM
What: School supplies will be provided to students that have registered at their appropriate school prior to the event.  Guardians must submit proof of need through a food stamp letter, SSI, or work check stubs.   A clothing closet will also be open at this time for parents and students, free of charge.

4th Grade Homerooms Publish Books
Each 4th grade language class recently published a book.  The titles of the books are:  Imagination Station (Johnson's homeroom), Adventures Within You'll Read Again (Patton's homeroom), Upside Down in the Middle of a Book (Tabor's homeroom), and Journey Through the Genres (Wooten's homeroom).  Special thanks to Mr. Walker for his help with the illustrations and for designing the covers. 
Student 2 Student Teach
The GT Parent Involvement Committee proudly presents the first Student 2 Student Teach. Open to all students grades 4-12. 
CES Takes 2nd Place in Regional Governor's Cup
Concord Elementary placed 2nd in the Regional Governor's Cup competition on Saturday.

Congratulations to Madeline Yates for winning the Judges' Choice Award for the CES Science Fair 2015. 
CES Takes Second in District 2 Governor's Cup
Concord Elementary School placed second at the District 2 Governor's Cup Competition on Saturday.  
4-H Speech Qualifiers
Congratulations to our CES students who qualified to compete at Communications Day through 4-H on Monday, March 16th at 6 PM.

Congratulations to Cynthia Steger, again!  Her poster has been judged as 1st place in the DAR Eastern Cenral Division.  This means she is not only a state winner, but a regional winner as well.  Her poster is now moving on to be judged at the national level.  Great work!
