Concord Elementary is creating pathways to success by providing a positive, safe environment where all children are involved and challenged in learning.
 
Inclement Weather Information
In the event that school is canceled, delayed, or dismissed early at any time during the school year, Concord Academy will be closed.  Please have a plan in place in advance.
 
One hour delay:
Drop off door will open at 9 a.m.  School will start at 9:35 a.m.  Busses will run one hour later than usual.
 
Two hour delay:
Drop off door will open at 10 a.m.  School will start at 10:35 a.m.  Busses will run two hours later than usual. 
 
Important Dates
January 23 - Kindergarten Program at 2:45 PM and 6:00 PM
January 26 - Awards Day   12:00 K/1st   1:00 2nd/3rd   2:00 4th/5th 
February 9 - Midterms sent home 
February 19 - No School 
February 20 and 22 - Parent Teacher Conferences *more information to come home 
March 16 - School will be in session as a makeup snow day

KMEA First District Chorus KMEA First District Chorus
Congratulations to the following Concord Elementary students for being seelcted for the Kentucky Music Educators Association's First District Chorus held at Murray State University on November 16, 2017.

Veterans Day Poster/Essay Contest Winners
Congratulations to the following students for their hard work on the Paducah Parks Department's Veterans Day contest:

Benjamin Kale - 2nd place essay 
 
We will celebrate these students' work at our annual Veterans Day Program on November 10th, at 9:00AM. 
 
Book Fair Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers to work in the library to assist checking out parents and restocking shelves at our annual CES Book Fair for the Loarna Rae Key Library.  To sign up to volunteer please click here.  Thank you for your help!

Congraulations to Kendall Lovell and Audrey Barrett for being selected for the American Choral Directors Association's All State Chorus, held at the University of Kentucky on November 4, 2017.

2017 Scholastic Book Clubs and James Patterson Parternship Giveaway Winner
Congratulations to Mrs. Alecia Clark, 2nd grade teacher!  Her application was chosen from more than 82,000 entries in the 2017 Scholastic Book Clubs and James Patterson Partnership Giveaway.  She won $500 and 500 bonus points to spend on building her classroom library through Scholastic. 
Kroger Rewards Program

Parents, family members and friends can register their Kroger Plus card and link it to Concord's NPO number following the steps below.  With every purchase you make, a portion will be automatically credited to Concord's account.  It's an easy way to support the school with something you do weekly, buy groceries!   If you do not have a Kroger Plus card, they are available at any Kroger customer service desk.  

 

Please follow the directions below to use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:

1. Register online at krogercommunityrewards.com

2. After registering click on "Edit Kroger Community Rewards Information" an dinput your Kroger Plus card number.

3. Enter NPO or name of organization, select organization from list and click on confirm.  Concord's NPO # is 33094.
