Special Education - Rebecca Lewis

This year Mrs. Lewis will begin her 13th year of teaching, and her second year at RMS. She graduated from Murray State in 2006 with her Bachelors, and again in 2010 with her Masters, both in special education. Mrs. Lewis grew up in Dixon, KY, Webster County, and graduated from there in 2002.

Mrs. Lewis began her teaching career at Graves County Middle School, in Mayfield, KY  in 2006 until 2015. Her husband, Jeremy, took a job in Georgetown, KY in 2015, so we moved and she began teaching at Scott County Middle School for two years. When presented with the opportunity to move back to Murray, where they currently live, they couldn’t turn it down. Being back with their family was icing on the cake!

Mrs. Lewis and her husband and have been married for twelve years and have two children, Camden-7 and Conleigh-almost 2. She loves to read and loves being with her family. They love UK basketball and Major League Baseball; her husband, the Cardinals, and her, the Braves. They’re a house divided :).

Mrs. Lewis is looking forward to another great school year at RMS.
