Scholarship Deadlines:
 
November 15: Hagan Scholarship Foundation
 
The intended Recipient of a Hagan Scholarship is a high achieving and self motivated student, who aspires to obtain a four year college education in order to realize his or her full potential.
 
The Requirements:
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Must have attended as a junior and senior in an eligible public high school.
3. Must be a student in the 2017 graduating class.
4. Must have a high school CGPA of 3.50 or higher.
5. Must have a 23 or higher on the ACT
6. Must enroll in a four year college the first semester after high school.
7. Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of college.
8. Must complete the FASFA in 2016 using the 2015 tax returns.
9. FASFA EFC must be less that $7,500.
10. Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
11. Must not have been convicted of a felony.
 
November 30: Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship
 
Visit www.elks.org/enf/scholars to read and download a copy of the application. There is a counselor's portion that they must complete before you take it to the local lodge. There is a local scholarship where they will scholarship where they will select where they will select a winner at the local level to go on and compete at the state/national level. You must take it to the lodge before November 30 to be considered.

December 1: University of Kentucky Scholarships Deadline
 
 
December 15: AXA Scholarship Achievement (APPLY EARLY) only the first 10,000 applications will be accepted.
 
Eligibility Requirements: US citizen or legal resident, plan to enroll full time in an accredited two year or four year college in the US by fall 2016, demonstrate ambition and self drive evidenced by outstanding achievement in an activity in school, the community, or the workplace, and be recommended by an unrelated adult who can attest to the student's achievement.
 
December 15: Burger King Scholars Program
 
 
Scholarships grants range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on the GPA, work experience, extracirruclar activities, and community service.
December 15: University of Louisville Scholarship Program

December 16: KASBO Scholarship
 
 
Each year, the Association of School Business Officials awards these scholarships of $2500 each to high school seniors who will be attending a college or university and majoring in education or business. The committee will be accepting applications through December 16. Applications and necessary information are available on KASBO website.
 
December 17: Foot Locker Scholar Athletes
 
Member of a high school sports team or be involved in after school sports, unweighted 3.0 GPA. More eligibility and requirements on website.
 
December 18: 2017 NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award
 
 
The NFIB Entrepreneur Award Program is an educational scholarship for high school seniors pursuing higher education and their entrepreneur dreams.
 
Eligibility Requirements:
 
NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards are open to any graduating high school senior entering their freshman year at an accredited (nonprofit) two or four year university, college, or vocational/technical institute. Applicants MUST be running their own small business in order to be considered for an award.
 
December 31: 1890 USDA Scholarship 
 
 
Eligibility Requirements: 
 
1. Be a U.S. citizen 
2. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
3. Have been accepted for admission or currently attending one of the nineteen  1890 Historic Grant Universities 
4. Study agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or other elated academic disciplines 
5. Demonstrate leadership and community service
