Science - Kelly Chiles

This is Mrs. Chiles's fifth year at Reidland Middle, and she looks forward to a year filled with unlimited learning experiences and fun. She graduated from Murray State in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science (OSH). She and  her husband moved to Florida for several years, eventually moving back to Marshall County to be closer to their families. She and her husband then made the decision for her to stay at home for awhile with their boys. "They are only little once!" exclaimed Mrs. Chiles. During that time, she re-evaluated her priorities and made the decision to return to Murray State and pursue another bachelors, that time in education. She never knew that she could be so passionate about something. Mrs. Chiles feels extremely blessed to be here and to share this year with you and your child.

Social Studies - Karen Kneisler

Being a Farley and Reidland graduate "many moons ago," Mrs. Kneisler is very proud and honored to teach in the community she loves so much.  Most of her 30 year teaching career has been in elementary Art, but this is her 9th year at RMS teaching Social Studies.  She has two grown sons, who are also proud Reidland graduates, and a precious new grandson who has stolen her heart.  She has two fur-babies at home (very spoiled)  and two grand-dogs who all love their Mom/Nana.  "I teach passionately," says Mrs. Kneisler,  "knowing the future is in my classroom.  I try to incorporate humor and fun.  Example:  Why did the map always get in trouble?  It had a bad latitude!"  Mrs. Kneisler looks forward to another amazing school year at RMS, with   GREAT latitudes!!!

Reading - Jenny Goins

Mrs. Jenny Goins is an avid reader and golf fanatic. She is a twenty plus year veteran teacher with a master degree in reading and writing. Mrs. Goins is a graduate of Reidland High School and she is ecstatic to teach what she loves to do, read! Mrs. Goins and her husband, John, have two grown children and a four year-old granddaughter. If you ask her, she’ll tell you all about her, and then some.

Language Arts - Mariah Clark

Mrs. Clark is very excited to be coming back to RMS as the 6th grade writing teacher. She         graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social Studies. She will be completing her Masters Degree in School Counseling in December 2018. She spent one year as a Reading Interventionist at Bowling Green Junior High, six years as an 8th Grade Reading Teacher at Hopkinsville Middle School where she was on SBDM, Junior Beta Sponsor, and FCA leader, and last year she taught 8th grade reading at Reidland Middle. She and her husband have 2 beautiful little girls, Kinley and Elliot, that are very energetic and fun. Her husband is a special education teacher at MCHS and is the head football coach. In her spare time she enjoys watching her oldest daughter dance competitively, reading, and supporting MCHS football. She is very excited to get going with new school year and is looking forward to another amazing experience as a Greyhound!
