Science - Kelly Chiles
This is my fourth year at Reidland Middle and I look forward to a year filled with unlimited learning experiences and fun. I graduated from Murray State in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science (OSH). My husband and I moved to Florida for several years moving back to Marshall County to be closer to our families. My husband and I then made the decision for me to stay at home for awhile with our boys. They are only little once! During this time I re-evaluated my priorities and made the decision to return to Murray State and pursue another bachelors this time in education. I never knew that I could be so passionate about something. I feel extremely blessed to be here and to share this year with you and your child.

Social Studies - Karen Kneisler
Hi! I am Karen Kneisler and I’m a 25+ year veteran teacher. This is my 8th year as a RMS Social Studies teacher. I am a proud Farley and Reidland graduate from many years ago, and I’m proud to be back teaching in such an awesome community. I have two grown sons, (also Reidland and MCHS graduates) and in my free time, I enjoy creating Artwork, playing with my 2 dogs, and spending time with family and friends.

Reading - Jenny Goins
This is my 20th year teaching in McCracken County. I'm a Reidland High School graduate with two grown children and one "prefect" granddaughter. This is my first year teaching middle school so I'm very excited and nervous!
Language Arts - Lea Ann Atherton

Beginning my sixteenth year of teaching, I am thrilled to teach and learn at Reidland Middle School this year! After growing up in Paducah, Kentucky, and graduating from Lone Oak, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. I also earned a Master of Education from Union, and a second Master of School Administration from Murray State. I have fifteen years of experience teaching middle school reading and writing in Tennessee, Kentucky, and my most recent year on the island of Maui in Hawai’i! Writing is not just what I teach; it really is a part of who I am. I have had several professional publications in Kentucky Teacher and EdWeek, and I had a short story published in Chicken Soup for the Shopper’s Soul. I also worked for a time as a faith-based reporter for Bristol Broadcasting’s online news website, and my dream is to someday publish a book...that matters. I seriously love to write, and I feel honored to be able to lead students to discover the writer within themselves! Besides teaching, I have worked as a National Education Consultant for State Teacher Fellowships with Hope Street Group, and I have gotten to train teacher leaders across several states, some of that training being in professional writing. I have no children of my own, but I serve as “Aunt Lea Ann” to two nieces and a nephew, and I am a dog mom to a cute little Morkie named Millie Julep. Outside of class, my hobbies include trying my best to surf, working out, photography, travel, home decorating, and shopping at TJ Maxx! I look forward to getting to know you and your family, along with the RMS family this year!

Mathematics - Cheyanne Reed-Warriner
Hello! I'm Cheyanne Reed-Warriner, I am in my fifth year of teaching, but this is my first year at RMS. I am a Reidland graduate, and so happy to be back in this great community! I am currently teaching 6th grade Math, 6th grade Pre-Algebra, and Geometry. Outside of the classroom I enjoy coaching the RMS Softball team, Go GREYHOUNDS!!! I also enjoy kayaking, hiking, and camping with my family. Looking forward to an awesome year!!!

Mathematics - Elizabeth Tilford
My name is Elizabeth Tilford and I am one of the 6th grade Mathematics teacher. I graduated from Murray State University in 2012. My husband and I lived in Lexington for three years before we moved back to our hometown of Paducah.  We have a beautiful daughter, Caroline, who just turned two and we are expecting a new addition this fall.

This is my third year at Reidland Middle but my sixth year teaching. We are going to have a lot of fun throughout this school year; I will push you because I know you can do it and I will help you any way I can. I have heard nothing but great things about this group of 6th graders, so I am looking forward to an exciting year!
